June Update/Promos Inside!
This is my site Written by Chris Pace on May 29, 2009 – 7:12 am

Summer has arrived with the close of Memorial Day weekend. Traditionally that means that traffic to the freebie world drops a bit. However given the state of the industry, there is not much room left to drop!
Freebies4me.net has now been around 2 years! In May 2007 we launched and experienced tremendous growth for a solid 20 months. Now that I have a few years of data to work with, I thought this was an interesting stat.

In May 2008, between May 1 and May 28, we had 12,492 visits to Freebies4me.net, and 53,051 Pageviews. In the same period for 2009 (5/1/09-5/28/09), we had 2,488 visits and 9,102 Pageviews. That is a drop of 80% year to year. June 2008 traffic was higher than May 2008 though, so there may be hope.

Another indicator I can use is phone verifications. The company we use for verifications, Telesign, indicates that in the 1st half of the month (May 1-14), we had a total of 217 verifications (this isn’t # of registration, just # of times a verification was triggered). May 15-28, we had 115. Part of it may be related to the holiday, but it is clear that traffic has come to a screeching halt.

So where do we go from here? From our perspective the goal is to continue providing excellent service and support, constantly searching for new offers, and improving credit weights as best we can. From your perspective though, its all about where to go to get those referrals. It is obvious that the impact of Project Payday’s departure from FLR has been bigger than any of us may have thought. But where did all these newbies go? I don’t see any evidence they are 100% within the PPD loop, nor are they at any of the alternate forums.

The key is coming up with new recruitment tools. Sitting back and watching the trades stack up within FLR is pretty much gone. In order to succeed, you need to branch outside of the forums. Some suggestions would be to promote your referral links at a local college newspaper, print out flyers to distribution on campus. Set up a blog/info site explaining your process and why you can help others succeed in the IFW world. Feel free to contact me any time and we can try to brainstorm some ideas.

…and finally…the PROMOS!

This is probably what you all have been waiting for…the Promos. Two major promotions exist for the month of June. First things first:

Pay bumps on ALL sites:
Freebies4me remains $85 per ref
25.Freebies4me remains $30 per ref
Offers4me stays at $45 per ref
Surveys.Freebies4me is now permanently $15 per cashout!

Unreferred? – Refer it up!

This is a completely new promotion we are trying for the month of June. In an effort to boost traffic and payouts, we making a temporary policy change. Here’s the scenario:

Say you signed up for Freebies4me weeks/months/years ago as unreferred. You’ve been referring folks to the site for a while now. Have you ever wanted to turn back the clock and maybe complete offers for someone else? Maybe you need to do a G4G trade. We have the answer.

Send me a support ticket and let me know you want to switch to referred. Give me the ID# (link) of the referral you want to be placed with. You can then green for them.

This will help you generate some new revenue and maybe make some new connections. Let me know if you have questions. Only catch is that its only for the month of June, so if you can’t complete the trade by the end of the month, you will just be untethered and re-greened. Also you WILL be able to cash out your own referrals during the process. You will just have to contact me before your order so I can set it up.

Thanks for continuing your support of Freebies4me Network.
